COMMUNICATIONS

At recent meetings there has been concerns about enough communication about meetings and township happenings.

The Township Board at the June 15, 2021 meeting decided to switch publications to the Greenville Daily News (previously the River Valley). Read more here

The Township Board would also like to know if the residents would like to receive email about meeting notices and important dates.  If you would like to add your name to an email list for township business, please click the icon below. Be sure to restate your name, property address and any other comments of what you'd like to see and how frequently you'd hope to see information.

The Pierson Township Hall is taking reservations.  The Township Hall has been through a make-over during the year of COVID shutdowns. Check out the photos of the new hall.

The Township will be installing a storage barn for the table & chair carts to give more room to the hall. (The shed project has had some delays due to product shortages.)

The calendar below is updated frequently to check for availability.  To confirm a date and get on the schedule email clerk@piersontwp.org.

Serving (not selling) alcohol at a hall rental event requires an insurance endorsement from the renters insurance company that runs $20-$30. See application or call for details.
