Things are happening with the New Pierson Township Board! At the December 15, 2020 meeting the Pierson Township Board accepted engagement letters with Bond Council Miller, Canfield, Paddock and Stone, PLC and Baker Tilly Municipal Advisors and with Attorney Rob Thall the Pierson Township Board will be refinancing the LWL Sewer Bond. This should have a significant savings for the LWL residents long term and put it in the hands of Pierson Township.

More information will be shared as available. For the meantime, please continue to pay the Sewer charges to the Montcalm County Drain Commissioner. There will be some time of transition for servicing of payments. The actual sewer management remains the same for the time being. Watch for more information as this develops.

The Pierson Township Hall is currently only available to the River Church based on current COVID guidelines by the Mid-Michigan Health Department mandate during the Pause to Save Lives extension until January 15, 2021.
Township Hall is open to the public for business.
Welcome to Lance Gates who will be joining the Pierson Township staff as Deputy Supervisor. He will be assisting the Supervisor, Zoning Administrator and the Assessor.
