At the September 21, 2026 Meeting (after the first Public Hearing) the Board approved Resolution 2 with the Taxable/Millage calculation for funding the SAD.  This will replace the Voter Approved Millage (expires 2028), as a line item on the winter 2026 tax bill.

A second Public Hearing is scheduled for October 19, 2026 to hear public comments prior to completion.  Should you have questions, please reach out to the Board during office hours, phone or email.

The SAD district will remain active for up to five years.  A public hearing will be held annually, to adjust for new fire contracts and any budget adjustments, prior to the winter tax billing.
