The Pierson Township Planning Commission has scheduled a Public Hearing for Thursday, June 3 at 7 pm to discuss the April 15 recommendations to the Wind Ordinance.
The Wind Ordinance with approved Wind Zones (approved by Board on February 16, 2021) can be found here. The April 15 recommendations have not yet been added to the Ordinance.

Township Board Meetings: 2021 Meetings will be the third Tuesday, with exception of November & December 2021. Calendar has been updated. All meetings are open to the public.

The Zoning Board of Appeals meets as needed. Nothing scheduled to date.
Planning Commission - Meetings for 2021 will be January 14 meeting was postponed until February 11, 2021 for a Public Hearing for Incidental Buildings and Wind Zones at 7 pm (regular meeting after public hearing), April 15, July 15 and October 14 at 7 pm.

Road Committee meetings will be Wednesdays: January 13, March 9, April 14, July 14. The October 13 meeting was removed from the schedule. Road meetings are at 7 pm.
Meeting minutes are available for review at the Township hall, and posted once approved at the following meeting. If you are unable to view, please email the clerk or come visit the Clerks office during business hours.
Pierson Township Hall is available for rental. Please contact the Clerk office for availability. $75 Rental fee for residents; $100 Rental fee for Non-Residents and $50 deposit (returned after inspection). There is now a meeting rate. Click for the new contract. * Hall rentals will honor current state guidelines.

Once on the list an application will be mailed to voter.
