Proposal 3 Changes to Registration Deadlines:
Sections E and F of Proposal 18-3 enacted change in the traditional "close of registration." Under the new law, voters may register in person, by mail, or online up to 15 days prior to an election. Voters may also register in person with the local clerk within 14 days of an election, up to and including Election Day. (Proof of residency in addition to proof of identity).
The state website, Information for Voters - Voting Equipment in Michigan has been updated for the counties who have implemented new voting systems including an interactive map to view equipment by vendor. This page is also accessible via the Voting Equipment button on MVIC.
